Andy Gemao officially commits to US NCAA DI team Penn State
Filipino standout Andy Gemao has officially committed to Penn State Nittany Lions men's basketball just hours after revealing that he had received an offer from the US NCAA Division I program.
A report by StateCollege.com and the team’s men’s basketball social media account confirmed the development on Saturday.

Listed at around 6-foot-six, the high-flying guard on Friday said he was “extremely honored to receive an offer from Penn State MBB.”
The Penn State Nittany Lions men's basketball finished 18th in the Big Ten Conference with a 3-17 conference record.
Prior to committing to Penn State, Gemao played for the UP Fighting Maroons in the NSAC Basketball Tour of Asiabasket.
He also suited up for the Royal Crown Lions in Canada.
Before going abroad, Gemao played for Colegio de San Juan de Letran in the NCAA Season 98 juniors basketball tournament, where he earned a spot in the Mythical Five as the Squires captured the championship. He was also named Finals MVP of the series against La Salle Green Hills.
