Mav Gonzales: “Covidan 2022 is real”

On Record host Mav Gonzales revealed that like Saksi news anchor Arnold Clavio, she had also tested positive for COVID-19.

The Kapuso reporter and TV host revealed her current health status in a humor-laden post on Instagram.

Mav began her post with serious and important reminders regarding vaccines and getting tested for COVID-19.

“Vaccines do work. I have my primary shot and booster, and I only manifested mild symptoms,” Mav shared.

“Covid symptoms can be easily mistaken for common illnesses now that it's flu season. If you have suspicions it's Covid, get tested and quarantine,” she emphasized.

Mav then humorously updated her followers on how she's doing on her recovery from COVID-19. by saying, “You can only clean you room, watch Netflix, and play mobile games so much till you wanna bang your head against the wall. ”

“You hibernate when you have Covid. Literal mga 16 hours ako tulog ata in a day,” she added. “I found out it depends on your body, but I eat a lot now yet lost weight. Uhh silver lining? Haha”

She also told her followers that she won't be doing her online show Tita Mav Knows at the moment 'cause it's hard to do so when she's coughing every few minutes.

Mav ended her post by giving a funny yet important reminder to everyone amid the current COVID-19 surge.

“Stay home if you don't have any essential business outside!!! Wag na kayo makiuso sa #covidan2022. ”
