Maxene Magalona

Maxene highlighted the importance of investing in relationships that are “easy flowing and organic.”

Maxene Magalona took to her Instagram the lessons she learned after losing someone important in her life.

In her post, the actress described how difficult it was for her when she lost her dad, the late Francis Magalona, a couple of years ago.

"When I lost my Dad to cancer back in 2009, I really felt like it was the end of the world because he was my best friend. The pain felt never ending.”

But Maxene said the pain of losing a loved one made her strong and wise to the point that it made ending any form of relationships that are not working anymore easier.

“[O]nce you have already lost the most important person in your life, it makes you so strong and wise that it just becomes easier and clearer to end relationships, both romantic and non-romantic, that are not working or flowing anymore,” she mused.

Maxene reminded that, “Life is short--we must only invest our time and energy in connections that are easy flowing and organic.”

She added that she believes in a kind of love that “grows and flows and should never be forced.”

Despite this, Maxene underscored how she is grateful for the failed relationships she had in the past.

“I understand that I had to go through all of them so that I could determine for myself the soul connections that I want to keep and let go of the ones that don't match my energy.”

"To all the souls I've crossed paths with in this lifetime, I give you my heartfelt thanks. Thank you, next!” the actress concluded.

Maxene has also recently shared her personal tips about moving on from a breakup, which followed her Instagram post about the perks of being single.
