The mega trailer of the much-anticipated GMA Network series, Voltes V: Legacy, has been continuously making rounds on the internet since it dropped at the start of the year.

Fans of the well-loved series and the netizens have expressed their excitement after watching the five-and-a-half minute trailer, including popular comedian and content creator Michael V.

Michael V. gave the mega trailer his own personal approval in a lengthy post on his Facebook page.

"Just finished watching the #VoltesVLegacy Mega Trailer… kinilabutan ako sa ganda! This is my childhood coming to reality!” he said.

According to the Kapuso comedian, watching the trailer got him “more excited than ever.”

He shared the nostalgia the trailer brought back, ”You made me travel back to my childhood and relive a feeling that has long been waiting to be rekindled. I'm looking forward to that feeling in every episode.”

Michael V. did not end his post without a clapback to the doubters and the bashers.

"Kung hindi talaga kayo fan, wala nang magpapasaya sa inyo kahit sino at kahit kailan. Marami pa rin ang mga nagpapanggap at hindi matanggap na kaya nang gawin 'to ng network with the right tools, right people and a ton of passion,” he said.

Michael V.'s post was accompanied by a number of screenshots from the trailer, along with some of his comments.

"First time akong naiyak habang nanonood ng cartoon. This shot says it all! Nagbara lalamunan ko nang slight,” Michael V. wrote in one.

Michael V. noted that the trailer alone had him “sold” and sent his kudos to Direk Mark Reyes and all the people behind the show.

"To all the fans and the bashers, this show is for you! Wala kahit isa sa inyo ang p'wedeng magnakaw ng saya na naramdaman ko nu'ng napanood ko 'to,” he concluded.

The mega trailer of Voltes V: Legacy has so far garnered 2.5 million views on Facebook, just a day after it was released.
