Members of OPM band Dilaw express their admiration towards award-winning comedian Michael V.
Multi-awarded comedian and songwriter Michael V. is in the spotlight after the resounding success of his parody song based on the OPM hit 'Uhaw' by the band Dilaw.
Direk Michael's new parody song titled "Oh Wow" premiered on Bubble Gang on Sunday, July 30, and in less than a day, the music video has amassed millions of views on TikTok and Facebook.

Meanwhile, the band members of Dilaw gave a huge shoutout to the Kapuso ace comedian on Instagram. Bitoy shared a video courtesy of KC Montero, wherein vocalist Dilaw Obero said, “Hi Daddy MV [Michael V.]! Thank you so much, I love you!”
Also part of Dilaw are guitarist Vie Viloria, Tobi Samson, Wayne Dela Rosa, Leon Altomonte, and En Altomonte.
Bitoy replied and wrote in the captions, “The feeling is all too mutual. Thank you so much guys!”
The song "Uhaw" has been streamed over 82 million times on Spotify, while the music video on YouTube has over 26 million views as of writing.
