Michelle Madrigal shares tips for moms who want to get back in shape after giving birth!

Michelle Madrigal did a demo video on a post-natal routine she recommends for moms to do after giving birth.

According to her bio, Michelle is both a pre-natal and post-natal specialist.

However, she advises moms to still seek their doctor's permission if they want to workout after childbirth.

Her recommended workout routine can be done as early as six weeks postpartum so moms can strengthen their core and pelvic floor.

Michelle's program began with a diaphragmatic breathing.

Then, she proceeded to other exercises that include dead bugs, squat to pelvic tilt, and heel slides.

Watch this:

For postnatal mamas, you can do this starting at 6 weeks postpartum to help strengthen your core and pelvic floor. Of course, always ask your doctors permission before starting any form of exercise. : : Diaphragmatic Breathing: Starting in a sitting position, place your hand below your belly button. Take a deep inhale and extend your belly button and rib cage, as you exhale slowly pull your belly button towards your spine and rib cage. Contract your transverse abdominis (inner core). : : Dead bugs:Lift your legs and arms off the ground, keeping your knees bent. Lower one arm to the ground and lower opposite let at the same time. Repeat with your opposite arm and leg. : : Squat to Pelvic Tilt: With your feet shoulder width apart, inhale and slowly squat in a seated position. As you exhale, slowly come up and tilt your pelvis. Repeat. : : Heel Slides: Lie down on the floor with your leg flat. •Slowly begin to slide your heel toward your buttock, keeping your heel on the floor. •Continue to slide your heel and bend your knee until it becomes a little uncomfortable and you can feel a small amount of pressure inside your knee. : : I created a postnatal workout program on my APP!
