Michelle Madrigal says she's 100% happy with her breast explant decision.

Six months after her surgery, vlogger and TV personality Michelle Madrigal gave an update on her breast explant journey, on Friday, June 19.

In her latest vlog titled “Explant Journey: Do I regret it?,” Michelle answered some of the most asked questions about her surgery.

“It has been six months since I removed [my breast silicons.] I did not do an en bloc (complete capsulectomy). I just had the actual implants removed. I didn't think it was necessary for me.

“I just had implants pulled out and I feel perfectly fine,” she said.

She further shared that she had a few symptoms within the six-month period after her surgery.

“I did have some symptoms and I can finally say that after six months, I was able to see if it was because of the silicons,” she added.

The symptoms include fatigue, sharp pains on her breasts, brain fog, and itchiness in her breast area.

With regard to her decision to finally go under the knife and pull out her implants, she said, “I am so happy that I actually had my implants removed. I'm so happy even though it's not full.

“Now, I've learned to fully love myself. I don't have the fluff [in my breast] but I don't mind it. And I feel like I can wear anything I want. I was so restricted when I had my implants.”

Michelle had her explant surgery in December 2019.

She has decided to finally reverse her breast surgery considering her new roles as a mom and a wife, and her personal commitment to health and wellness.

She stated, “I just want this out of my system. It doesn't serve me anymore.

“Yes, in my younger years I only cared about my looks, trying to look cute, whatever, trying to boost up your confidence.

“But I'm just in a different phase in my life now. I've accepted myself for who I am.

“It's not just sustainable for our lifestyle anymore. I don't want to be going through multiple surgeries every 15 to 20 years.

“Think about it, and think long-term because that's something I didn't do for myself.

“I just got so caught up with looking good, boosting my confidence.

“Maybe I was just so caught up with that that I didn't even think of my health,” she also advised the other women.”
