Sparkle artists and Voltes V: Legacy stars Miguel Tanfelix and Matt Lozano may be enjoying the thrill and the adrenaline when riding their big bikes but the two actors did not forget to assure everyone that they're always safe and careful when doing so.

“Actually dati, hindi ko inakalang bibili ako ng sarili kong motor. Pero dahil nakilala ko si Steve Armstrong, pinakilala sa'kin ni Steve Armstrong ang pagmo-motor, na-in love na rin ako sa pagmomotor,” Miguel said in an interview with Nelson Canlas on 'Chika Minute' for 24 Oras.

Miguel recently posted a video of himself buying his first motorcycle together with Voltes V: Legacy co-stars Matt, Radson Flores, and Ysabel Ortega.

In the caption, he wrote, “When I was young, I never pictured myself owning a bike. But Steve Armstrong… look what you made me do!"

Miguel first took motorcycle lessons in preparation for his role as Steve Armstrong. In a previous post, he showed a picture of himself, straddling a bike, and getting ready to train at Clark International Speedway race track in Pampanga.

Matt, meanwhile, revealed that he has always dreamed of riding a motorcycle and even enrolled in a motorcycle school.

“As in parang nung 14 years old o 15 years old ako, nag-aral ako ng motorcycle school. Tapos, hindi ako pinayagan ni mama bumili,” he said.

He added, “Ito na talaga 'yung time na sa tignin ko, sabi ko 'nasa tamang edad naman na siguro ako and nag-iingat naman ako.”

Both Miguel and Matt assured everyone that they were always careful and that they have their safety gear.

“Safe naman po ako and pag nagra-ride kami ni Matt, full gear talaga...helmet. Actually nauna pa nga 'yung mga gear namin kaysa sa motor e,” Miguel said.

“Syempre kailangan 'yung presence of mind, kailangan palaging malakas. Hindi pwedeng walang helmet, I make sure na nag-ga-gloves ako pagka nagra-ride,” Matt added.
