Kelvin Miranda and Mikee Quintos will talk about the good memories they made and the many locations featured on the GTV hit series, 'The Lost Recipe.'

Fans of the hit romance fantasy series The Lost Recipe (TLR) are in for a treat as Mikee Quintos and Kelvin Miranda join the review and lifestyle show Pop Talk this coming Saturday, May 1.

Mikee and Kelvin will talk about the picturesque set locations featured in TLR and their reaction now that these places have become a must-visit for fans of the show as seen on social media.

As we all know, viewers were captivated by the multiple sceneries and backdrops of the hit series such as the Baluarte de San Diego in Intramuros, Gota de Leche in Sampaloc, and the Philippine Post Office, to name only a few.

The two will also share their thoughts on the overwhelming love and positive feedback received by the show throughout its magnificent two-month run.

Also in store for this week's episode are exciting destination in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao including Palawan, Bohol, and Zamboanga del Norte.

Pop Talk host Tonipet Gaba feels that the show, known for its honest-to-goodness food and restaurant reviews, found its renewed sense of purpose in these highly uncertain times.

All the more, food businesses need all the exposure that they can get to keep them afloat amid the pandemic.

Customers, on the other hand, deserve to know the quality of the food that they'll be getting to save them time and money, and help manage expectations as well.

The balance of these elements fits perfectly within the program's playbook.

To keep up with the times, the show now either conducts actual or virtual location visits, or combines both, depending on safety and health protocols, and logistical concerns.

“It couldn't have arrived in a more opportune time na mag-create ng episodes na ganito. Kasi now, more than ever, they need to know the truth, we need to tell them the truth, and give them good episodes,” Tonipet told GMANetwork.com in a recent video interview.

“Kasi hindi pa rin mapipigilan ang Kapuso foodies. Interes natin 'yan lahat, ang pagkain.

“Isa pa 'yang reason kung bakit hanggang ngayon, ano man ang aming format, ano man ang aming konsepto, tinatanggap ito ng mga Kapuso viewers natin kasi interesado ang lahat sa pagkain.

“So, it's up to us lang talaga to be very creative, innovative, and mabilis mag-isip at mag-adopt.”

Catch Pop Talk on its new timeslot at 9:50 p.m. this Saturday on GTV.
