Mikee Quintos

Mikee Quintos shares one of the things she realized while staying home due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kapuso actress Mikee Quintos has previously shared that she had a lot of time to reflect while staying at home during the lockdown.

One of the things she realized is how humbling the COVID-19 pandemic is.

"What's happening now is very humbling for everyone, hindi lang sa celebrities. Kasi no matter what your social status, lahat tayo na-stuck sa bahay. Lahat tayo same 'yung pinagdadaanan," Mikee shares in an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com.

According to Mikee, the pandemic somehow served as an equalizer.

"'Yun 'yung nakaka-humble doon na 'yung mga taong iniidolo natin, kahit gaano sila kalaki, ma-realize mo at the end of the day they're still human. Kasi lahat tayo parepareho lang ng pinagdadaanan, wala kang takas dito," she says.

She also hopes that people can learn from what we all experienced during this time.

"'Yun 'yung isa sa mga positive things din na sana dalhin ng mga tao hanggang pagkatapos ng ECQ (enhanced community quarantine), hanggang pagkatapos ng pandemic na 'to. Mas maging human tayo when interacting with other people," Mikee says.
