Former Miss Universe Philippines Miriam Quiambao and her husband Ardy Roberto are expecting another baby boy very soon.

In the latest vlog of the Miss Universe Philippines 1999, she and Ardy gave a glimpse of her gender reveal party organized by their relatives.

At first, Miriam admitted that her heart sank because she hoped to have a daughter this time around.

“Honestly parang nararamdaman ko 'yung heart ko nagsi-sink. Sorry, Lord,” she said.

“Kasi siyempre, I was really looking, and I was really praying na girl na siya. Tapos, nung nakita ko na blue, sabi ko, 'Uy, it's a boy.'”

Miriam has a son named Elijah with her husband, whom they welcomed in 2019.

Additionally, the former beauty queen-turned-host admittedly “struggled” to come to terms with her baby's gender. But, eventually, she accepted their blessings.

“I'm trying to convince myself na it's God's will, and He knows better. For sure, God has a plan,” she added.

“I know this Your decision, and this is Your will, Lord. Your will is really the best.”

Meanwhile, Ardy turned to their child and said, “It's okay, baby. Mama loves you. God doesn't make mistakes 'di ba?”

The motivational speaker then confessed to feeling concerned about his wife and his adopted son Josh because he knew they wanted a girl.

“I had a feeling talaga na boy,” Ardy admitted.

“But, I was thinking about you [Miriam], and I was thinking about Josh. Si Josh was also disappointed because he really wanted a girl. He wanted to experience being a protector, sabi n'ya.”

He then said in jest, “Paano kung babae tapos kamukha ko? Tapos, 'di ba, 'yung pressure to be a beauty queen! I don't want that kind of pressure to be on her. Kung lalaki, okey lang.”

By the 5-minute mark, Miriam said that her husband has helped her cope with reality.

“Thank you, Lord dahil binigyan mo kami ng another miracle baby,” she said.

“Binigyan mo kami ng another chance to be parents again and thank You, Lord, na healthy ang baby. Now that I know I'm pregnant with another baby boy, I'm really happy and thankful.

“And ngayon na nararamdaman ko na 'yung mga kicks ni baby... It's thrilling for a mom to feel the baby kicks, 'yung may connection na talaga ako with the baby,” she added.
