An Instgram Reel from the Miss Grand International organization might be a sign that CJ Opiaza will be taking the crown.
Developments continue to happen with the Miss Grand International as the organization has posted a suggestive Instagram Reel on its official account.
In one of the more recent posts on its Instagram account, the Miss Grand International pageant posted a Reel featuring Miss Grand International first runner-up CJ Opiaza, along with the caption “Being a queen isn't just about outer beauty -- it begins within. Stay tuned!”
While no announcement has been made, pageant fans are speculating that CJ will now be named as the new Miss Grand International titleholder.
At this writing, the post has accumulated more than 60,000 likes.

The post comes after the organization announced yesterday that its current titleholder, Rachel Gupta of India, has been stripped of her Miss Grand International 2024 title. In a Facebook post, the organization cited Rachel's “failure to fulfill her assigned duties, engagement in external projects without prior approval from the organization, and her refusal to participate in the scheduled trip to Guatemala.”
The organization also wrote that Rachel has 30 days to return her crown to the MGI Head Office.
As of this writing, the announcement has garnered more than 60,000 reactions, more than 4,000 comments, and has been shared more than 7,000 times.

Rachel Gupta is just the latest Miss Grand International winner to be stripped of their title. Back in October last year, 2024 Miss Grand International second runner-up Miss Grand Myanmar Thae Su Nyein was removed from her position due to alleged “inappropriate behavior and actions that violated several regulations.”
There was also controversy even before Thae Sy Nyein was stripped of her title. Three weeks before she was stripped of her title, the Miss Grand Cambodia organization vowed that the Miss Grand International pageant would never return to their country.
