The 2024 Miss Grand International preliminary competition will be streamed on the Grand TV YouTube channel.
Pageant fans and followers have yet another spectacle to look forward to tonight as the Miss Grand International preliminary competition is set to be streamed on YouTube later tonight, October 22, at 7 p.m.
The Miss Grand Philippines posted the announcement on their official Instagram account, promising a night of “captivating evening gowns and stunning swimsuit moments.”
The preliminary competition comes after CJ made it into the top 16 of the Miss Grand International's Country's Power of the Year voting challenge, alongside delegates from Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, Peru, Guatamela, Vietnam, Mexico, Paraguay, Colombia, Spain, Malaysia, India, Venezuela, Angola, and Brazil.
The Miss Grand Philippines organization recently made a call on its official Instagram account for votes for CJ on the second round of the Country's Power of the Year voting challenge, with the top four automatically joining the pageant's top 20. The voting lasts until 7:00 p.m. today, October 22.
The Miss Grand Philippines organization previously called for votes for CJ during the Miss Grand International Pre-arrival Voting. At the time of the call, CJ was in the top six of the Miss Grand International pre-arrival voting. The top five were Miss Myanmar, Miss Indonesia, Miss Vietnam, Miss Cambodia, and Miss Thailand.
CJ would then go on to make it to the top 10 of the challenge, earning her a dinner with the Miss Grand International president.
CJ left for Phnom Penh, Cambodia on Thursday, October 3, at 10 p.m. after a send-off and a press conference. The Miss Grand Philippines called on pageant fans and followers to send her off with “confidence and determination.”
CJ was crowned Miss Grand Philippines on Sunday, September 29. She flew to Cambodia for some of the Miss Grand International activities, and will then head to Bangkok for the pageant's coronation night on October 25.
CJ was crowned at the final show held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Newport World Resorts, besting 19 other queens.
