The newly crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2026, Bea Millan-Windorski, joyfully shared a message on her Instagram following her successful stint in the recently concluded Miss Universe Philippines competition.
The competition ended with a coronation night held last Saturday, May 2, 2026, where Bea was named the new queen who will represent the country in Puerto Rico later this year.
In her post, which included a video of her wearing her golden evening gown by designer Anthony Ramirez during the coronation night, the newly crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2026 expressed that her heart is overflowing with gratitude and love following her victory.
She stated that she is ready to use this platform to showcase the Filipino voice to the world in her upcoming journey to the international stage this November.
“Malayo pa, pero malayo na,” Bea wrote in the caption of her post.
“Pilipinas, my heart is full of love and gratitude. I'm ready to use this crown to amplify the voice of every Filipino across the Universe,” she added.
Bea secured the crown largely due to her powerful answer to the final question: “Many Filipinos are getting frustrated with the country. For you, why is it still worth representing the Philippines on the global stage?”
“The Philippines is a place that I've been in love with my whole life. Growing up in a predominantly non-diverse part of the United States, I was identified as Filipina first and foremost. I often had to point out where the Philippines was on the map to my peers, and I always felt a sense of belonging and home. I chose to pack my life in balikbayan boxes and food cases because I believe in the limitless potential of the Filipino people and in the need to create local opportunities here so that people don't have to go abroad and be separated from their families in order to survive and thrive. If I were to be given the title of Miss Universe Philippines, I promise to be a public servant for all,” Bea answered.
In the final stretch of the competition, Bea stood victorious alongside group of queens, including Sultan Kudarat's Jenrose Javier, Cebu City's Apriel Smith, Tarlac's Marian Arellano, Taguig's Ysabella Ysmael, Cebu Province's Nicole Borromeo, and Pampanga's Allyson Arceo Hetland.
