Miss Universe Philippines

A mysterious graphic posted by the Miss Universe Philippines organization has pageant fans talking.

It looks like pageant fans have something to look forward to in the coming days and weeks as the Miss Universe Philippines organization is teasing something on its social media.

In one of the more recent posts on the official Instagram account, the Miss Universe Philippines organization posted the image of a woman with her back turned. Text that reads “The Return” is over the image as well as the question “Are you ready?” In the comments to the post, pageant fans and followers are already guessing what exactly is making a return.

While the Miss Universe Philippines organization teases its followers, the group is also diligently expanding its reach in the country. Last week, the organization announced an accredited partner in Quezon Province.

On its Instagram account, the Miss Universe Philippines organization posted multiple pictures from the contract signing that featured Miss Universe Philippines national director Shamcey Supsup-Lee, AP Directors Joseph Rivera and Arnold Mercado, and CPT President Lloyd Lee.

Even the Miss Universe Philippines' sister organizations are also establishing partnerships throughout the country. Back in September, Miss Universe Philippines' sister organization The Miss Philippines announced a partnership with Miss Asia Pacific International. The Miss Asia Pacific International was first started in 1965 as a Miss Asia contest before becoming Miss Asia Pacific in 1984 and Miss Asia Pacific Quest in 1985 before becoming Miss Asia Pacific International. The pageant aims to promote Philippine tourism overseas, which mirrors The Miss Philippines pageant's own objectives.

In August, the Miss Universe Philippines organization teased The Miss Philippines California, with the group raising the possibility of the next Miss Universe Philippines being a “Fil-Am beauty”.

Meanwhile, current reigning Miss Universe Philippines Michelle Dee continues to work for her advocacy, recently spending time at a shelter for kids with special needs to distribute gifts, engage in games and dancing, and share a meal with the staff and beneficiaries of the organization, Cottolengo Filipino, Inc.
