Krishnah Gravidez

Miss World Philippines Krishnah Gravidez continues to engage in advocacy work in and out of the country.

Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) had a beautiful holiday season as they were visited by current reigning Miss World Philippines Krishnah Gravidez.

In one of the more recent posts on her Instagram account, Krishnah shared multiple photos of her at the Winter Night Market organized by the Filipino community in the UAE. In the caption to the post, Krishnah thanked the OFWs for their support as well as praised their role as heroes of the country.

This visit to the Winter Night Market is just one of the activities that Krishnah took part in during her visit to the UAE. Last week, Krishnah started her Middle East visit with a radio guesting at TAG 91.1, the first Filipino radio station in the UAE. In the caption to the post, Krishnah thanked the radio station for letting her talk about the holidays, the Filipino community in Dubai, and her non-profit organization, Colors of Kindness.

Krishnah first announced her Dubai trip the week before her radio guesting, writing in the caption of her post that she will be in Dubai to “explore possibilities, empower, and connect with our modern-day heroes, our OFWs.” Krishnah also wrote that she can't wait to immerse herself in Dubai's culture while also giving back to the community.

The visit to the Middle East is Krishnah's latest advocacy work in the past few months. A couple of weeks before her announcement, Krishnah recalled her time hosting Pawchella, a benefit concert organized by non-government organization (NGO) Pawssion Project.

Krishnah also called on her fans and Instagram followers to take a look at Pawssion Project's social media accounts to find out how they can help the organization.

During the aftermath of Typhoon Carina back in July, Krishnah asked for donations for pets affected by the disaster. The Colors of Kindness Instagram tagged her in one of its posts during the typhoon and provided the details of her banking account for relief efforts for the animal victims of the typhoon and the Southwest Monsoon.

Krishnah also attended the Red Charity Gala back in October, with the event benefiting the Assumption HS 1981 Foundation, the Philippine Red Cross, and the Hope for Lupus Foundation.

Krishnah had on a terno made by designer Joey Samson, which utilized vintage Japanese kimonos to come up with the terno, and then paired it with a cape made from pineapple threads.
