Napili na ng Miss World Philippines ang 35 official candidates nito para sa 2022 pageant.

Dumaan sa isang masusing question and answer portion, at rumampa suot ang kanilang swimsuits ang 52 kandidata na nakapasok sa unang screening.

Matapos ang deliberasyon ng mga hurado, pumili sila ng 35 kandidata na tutuloy sa 2022 pageant.

Kabilang sa mga napili si Ashley Subijano Montenegro, anak ni 1994 Ms. Philippines Kara Subijano at TV host Hans Montenegro.

"Miss World has so many different activities and components. I'm really excited that all of the challenges involved really get to allow us to show different facets of our talents. I'm exceptionally excited because this is my first pageant. I'm ready for it," pahayag ni Ashley.

Nagbabalik naman si Gwen Fourniol na kandidata din ng Miss World Philippines noong nakaraang taon.

"Actually, I've been preparing for a while, especially last year I joined. I think it's all the preparation for me. It's a stepping stone to who I am today. I think I'm a better version of myself through all the training," ani Gwen.

Pasok din si Ingrid Santamaria, anak ni former PBA player at model Joey Santamaria.

"You ingrain every single thing from every training into your real life so that when the time comes, you just have awesome memory. You just have brain memory and your hardwork that you did works for you at the end," lahad ni Ingrid.
