Moi Bien recalled an unforgettable first encounter with Piolo Pascual, revealing that she accidentally locked the actor out of his own home on her very first day working for his family.

Speaking on i-Listen with Kara David, Moi shared that Piolo ended up climbing onto the roof just to get inside after she fell asleep from exhaustion following a full day of household chores.

"Yung pang-first kong pasok, na-lock ko ang pinto. Hindi siya [Piolo] nakapasok. Kasi, naglaba ako nang maraming, maraming, marami kasi siguro matagal na silang walang kasambahay."

Exhausted from the work, she fell asleep while alone inside the house.

When Piolo got home, he repeatedly tried calling out to her, but she never heard him because her room was far from the gate.

"Na-lock ko yung bahay. 'Tapos, tawag siya nang tawag. Hindi ko siya marinig. Kasi, ito 'yung gate, ito 'yung kuwarto (malayo) sa akin."

With no key on hand, Piolo had to find another way in.

"Tapos nakatulog ako. Ako lang mag-isa sa bahay. Alam mo kung saan siya dumaan? Sa bubong. Inakyat niya 'yung bahay niya."

Laughing as she remembered the moment, Moi added that Piolo essentially became an "akyat-bahay" just to enter his own house.

"Wala, nag-akyat-bahay siya. 'Yun 'yung first meet namin."

Fortunately, the actor did not get angry over what happened.

Instead, Moi said Piolo understood that she had simply been exhausted after finishing all the laundry.

"Kasi naiintindihan siguro niya na ang dami kong nilabhan. Sabi ko, 'Sorry po' (habang nakatingala dahil nasa bubong si Piolo). 'Sorry po, inantok ako, nakatulog ako, ang dami ko kasing nilabhan, e.'"

In the same interview, Moi shared that she got the job through her brother-in-law, who was already working for Piolo's family. She was recommended when Piolo's sibling was looking for someone to care for a baby.

She also admitted she was unfamiliar with most celebrities at the time, even though Piolo was already beginning his acting career.

"Nag-aartista na rin yata siya that time, parang series-series. E, hindi ako masyadong aware sa mga arti-artista, hindi ako masyadong kinikilig sa mga artista. Si Robin (Padilla) lang 'yung ano ko dati, tsaka si Joko Diaz."

Unlike many people, Moi said meeting Piolo for the first time did not leave her starstruck.

"First kita ko nga kay Papa P, hindi ako fan. Wala, dedma."

Moi eventually stayed with the Pascual family through the years, continuing to work for them as they transferred from one home to another while caring for the child she had been hired to look after.
