Renowned starmaker Johnny Manahan, famously known as Mr. M, had an insightful conversation with Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards about showbiz and stardom to mark Sparkle's first anniversary, as seen on the GMA talent management arm's YouTube channel on Sunday, February 12.

Mr. M talked about what it takes to be a star and gave advice to some GMA artists, including Kapuso Ultimate Heartthrob, Miguel Tanfelix.

Mr. M commended Miguel, who's been in the industry since he was six, citing his acting experience.

The Sparkle consultant said, "I like him. Miguel, I think, will make a very fine actor. Experienced 'yan so as he grows, as he works, magiging Alden Richards din 'yan."

Mr. M compared Miguel to Alden who, like Miguel, started acting early and successfully established a name for himself in showbiz.

From playing support roles, both Miguel and Alden have transitioned into headliners, taking on big roles in various projects in GMA, and are now considered two of the most sought-after leading men of the Kapuso network.

It's safe to say that Miguel will follow in the footsteps of Alden, who is regarded as the most successful male talent of Sparkle to date, especially now that Miguel top bills the highly anticipated Voltes V: Legacy, dubbed as the most expensive project that GMA has made.

Set to premiere in 2023, Voltes: Legacy, written by Suzette Doctolero, bears the potential of being the Philippines' first serious epic sci-fi TV show as it is partnered with Toei Company, Ltd., the same company that brought the robot saga to life, and its local licensor Telesuccess Productions, Inc.

GMA also engaged the services of Riot Inc. Post-Production along with GMA Post Video graphics to handle the CGI and the live-action elements of the stories.

Voltes: Legacy is directed by Mark Reyes.
