From August 1 to 19, Munting Heredera led on its timeslot in viewer-rich Mega Manila according to data from Nielsen TV Audience Measurement. For the said period, the Kapuso program garnered an average household share of 38.1 percent, 10.4 points higher than its ABS-CBN counterpart's 27.7 percent. It also reigned in Total Urban Luzon, which accounts for 77 percent of urban television households nationwide, with 36.5 percent, 7.2 points ahead of its rival program's 29.3 percent.

Originally set to run for only 13 weeks, the Kapuso weeknight drama, directed by award-winning director Maryo J. delos Reyes, and originally written by Agnes Gagelonia-Uligan along with the show's talented pool of writers, will now air up to October this year.

The cast composed of Ms. Gloria Romero, Mark Anthony Fernandez, Camille Pratts, Katrina Halili, Luz Valdez, Gabby Eigenmann, Leandro Baldemor, Ynez Veneracion, Neil Ryan Sese, Krystal Reyes, Kristoffer Martin, Joyce Ching, and Roderick Paulate could not be happier as they continue to reap praises from viewers, and are all the more inspired to deliver great performances.

The three young stars in the story, Mona Louise Rey, Kyle Daniel Ocampo and Barbara Miguel have also proven their acting mettle as they capably interpret their roles. Indeed, it's only a matter of time before these child actors reach stardom.

Meanwhile, the story promises to be more riveting as the search for the true heiress of Doña Ana (Gloria Romero) continues. Viewers can expect more dramatic twists with the arrival of new characters including Robert Arevalo as Enrique, Doña Ana's first love; Boots Anson-Roa as Ingrid, Enrique's ex-wife, and Doña Ana's fiercest rival; and Bobby Andrews as Stanley, Enrique and Ingrid's son, who will assist her mother with her evil plans.
