Th Adoress Farm in Mabitac, Laguna grows different kinds of organic vegetables. One of them is the white oyster mushroom, which is a type of fungus.
This is the mushroom that some locals in Laguna use to cook their Vegetable Sinigang with Mushrooms.
If you want to try this recipe, below are the ingredients and procedure.

1. Sauté garlic, onion, and tomatoes.
2. Add the white oyster mushrooms.
3. Add the string beans.
4. Add tahure.
5. Pour calamansi juice and tamarind extract.
6. Add four cups of water.
7. Add some more tamarind extract.
8. Add the winged beans, green chili pepper, and mustard greens.

Mushballs
If you want a healthy dish to serve for merienda, then the Mushballs recipe is perfect for you. It's similar to the meatballs, but it's totally meatless and uses the white oyster mushrooms as its star ingredient.
Below are the ingredients and procedure on how to make your very own Mushballs.

Procedure:
1. Slice the white oyster mushrooms into tiny pieces, or you can also use a grinder.
2. Sauté garlic, onions and ground/sliced mushrooms.
3. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Add cheese cubes and fresh oreganos.
5. Cook until mushrooms are golden brown then set aside and let it cool down.
6. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked mushrooms, oatmeal, breadcrumbs, red bell pepper, and two eggs.
7. Mold the mixture into small balls.
8. Coat with breadcrumbs.
9. Deep fry until golden brown.
You can also make a sauce for your Mushballs and pour it on top before serving. You can also add cheese sauce and dried basil.
