From the story board, to the behind-the-scenes clips down to the cutting-edge animation, anticipation raises further as anime fans go crazy over the premiere of the much-awaited live action series of Voltes V Legacy.
The 15-second teaser made eager fans more excited to catch a glimpse of the classic anime hit.
Proving the team's on-point direction toward the goal to make the best possible local adaptation of the Japanese classic is the letter of recommendation received by the network from Toei Company, LTD., who owns the Voltes V franchise as well as other Japanese anime series.
The Kapuso production team was praised for living up to their expectations despite the challenges posed by the pandemic.
"'Yung mga Japanese pa ang nag praise, they don't have any revision and they we're very happy and we're very surprised with what they saw. If there's any indication or validation dun sa mga ginawa namin ng buong team ng Voltes V. Syempre nakakataba ng puso no," series Director Mark Reyes told Nelson Cablas on his interview for 24 Oras' "Chika Minute" segment.
To further tickle anime fans, a Voltes V Legacy featurette will be released in time for the Kapuso Countdown to 2022 as well as in the GMA New Year Special.
Even cast member Matt Lozano ,who plays the role of Big Bert, also could not hold his enthusiasm for the upcoming teaser release for Voltes V.
"Kami pong mga cast sobrang excited na po kaya kanina nung nakita ko 'yung teaser trailer para sa featurette ng Voltes V Legacy, nagulat ako eh, di pa ko ready na makita 'yung mga reaksyon ng mga tao kasi super excited din talaga ko," he said.
Mark further said that the entire team has worked hard for what the production has accomplished so far. From here, they are pushing themselves even further to live true to the anime's legacy.
"In the past 2 years ano, we've set, dalawang teasers na ang nailabas natin ng new year so naging tradition na, this year I told the production, let's give them more," he shared.
As for the most wanted question of the Voltes V Legacy's final television premiere, Director Mark simply says, "Wow, probably I could say 50-60 percent ganun."
