Brianna, the beautiful daughter of Michael V., has finally joined the showbiz industry after signing a contract with GMA Network's talent arm, GMA Artist Center.

Brianna was officially introduced as a new Kapuso after performing on All-Out Sundays segment "Fresh Young Peeps" or "FYP" with Pamela Prinster, Sandro Muhlach, Mitzi Josh, and Gabrielle Hahn on Sunday, June 27.

In a recent interview, Brianna said she knew that she would always be connected to her father, Michael V.

She also noted that she is more than a celebrity daughter as she has a lot of things to share in the industry.

“For me po, the main thing at first is really getting out of the light na parang making a name for myself, basically.

“Since my dad is Michael V., it's gonna be a bit of a challenge to get out of the light, na anak lang ni Michael V. It was always gonna be a part of who I am.”

On the other hand, Brianna revealed that she is proud to be the Kapuso comedian's daughter. But she also wants to showcase her talents on her own.

“I am always proud naman to be his daughter.

"I wouldn't mind naman being known as his daughter pero, of course, I would like to be known as well for my own uniqueness and my own style po of acting and also 'yung sa music rin po.”

Although the father and daughter love music and acting, Brianna said they have different strengths and prefer different genres.

"He's also a musician, songwriter rin po.

“Magkaiba rin kami ng genre when it comes to acting, e. Mas strength niya po 'yung comedy and ako mahilig ako sa mga rom-com or drama.”
