By Bianca Geli

Alanis Morissette is coming to the Philippines, and she's adding a second night for her concert, after day one of the concert got sold out.

The Canadian-American musician is performing on August 1 and 2, 2023 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Her upcoming show in Manila is part of her tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of her album Jagged Little Pill. Her Manila show was initially scheduled to take place in April 2020 but it was moved to December 2021, then November 2022, and eventually for August 2023. The shows have been postponed three times due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jagged Little Pill became a hit during the mid-'90s, producing a string of chart-toppers like "You Oughta Know," "Hand in My Pocket," and "Ironic,". It also earned Alanis five Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, making her the youngest performer to ever win the prestigious honor at 21 years old. Jagged Little Pill was ranked number 69 on Rolling Stone's list of "the 500 best albums of all time."

Alanis's “Jagged Little Pill” concert tickets for August 2, 2023, are available at smtickets.com. Tickets are priced at PhP14,750 (SVIP), PhP13,750 (VIP), PhP11,750 (Patron), PhP9,750 (Lower Box A), PhP8,750 (Lower Box B), PhP5,750 (Upper Box), and PhP2,750 (Gen Ad).
