
Fans of the global group BTS were surprised with news that the group recorded a song for the upcoming animated superhero film, “Bastions.”
A 30-second snippet of the upbeat song was released on Friday.

According to a report by Soompi, the song will feature the whole group as it was recorded prior to Jin's enlistment in the military.
“Bastions” focuses on the superheroes' fight against environmental pollution, Soompi said and is set to premiere on SBS this May 14.
The movie's OST will also feature Brave Girls, LE SSERAFIM, Heize, and AleXa.
Members of BTS are currently focusing on their solo projects as they prepare for their mandatory military enlistment.
J-hope spearheaded with Jack in the Box, followed by Jin's The Astronaut, RM's Indigo, and Jimin's FACE.
SUGA will be releasing his album, D-Day, on April 21.
The group is set to reconvene in 2025.
