Brent Valdez expressed how grateful he is for the projects and blessings, and that he's ready to try something new.
With the success of the hit historical fantasy portal series Maria Clara at Ibarra where he plays the role of Alfonso Linares and with his role as Magus in the upcoming mecha adaptation Voltes V: Legacy, Brent Valdez could not help but express how grateful and blessed he's feeling for all the blessing that came his way.
“Ngayon, kakatapos lang namin ng Maria Clara at Ibarra. Nagpapasalamat po ako sa lahat ng sumuporta at nanood at ngayon, nasa Netflix na kami, streaming, at ang susunod naman ay 'yung Voltes V namin, ngayong May yan,” Brent during his interview on the GMA Regional TV morning show Mornings with GMA Regional TV.
He added, “Blessed, grateful sa projects and blessings na nangyayari sa buhay ko ngayon.”
The historical fantasy portal series ended its run on February 24, 2023. Now that the series is available for online streaming, Brent voiced out how he missed working on Maria Clara at Ibarra.
“Nakakamiss. Ibang mundo 'yun para sa'kin. Nung ginagawa namin siya, para kang from the present Filipino life and culture, pumasok ka sa lumang buhay ng mga Pilipino,” he said.
He added, “Maraming aral na kapupulutan ng mga manonood natin, ang mga nanood ng teleserye.”
With the success of both his acting and singing career, what other dream does Brent have? His answer, “Gusto kong gawin naman 'yung field ng pagho-host.”
“Dahil nagawa ko na ang singing, ang dancing, ang acting, ngayon naman, gusto ko i-hone 'yung skill ko sa pagho-host,” he said.
In a previous interview, Brent admitted that it was not easy entering showbiz and likened the experience to going through “butas ng karayom.” He also added that he already saw himself as a performer which is why he continued to pursue his dream.
“Ngayon, natupad ko na 'yung pangarap ko maging artista at nandito ako sa Kapuso network, isang karangalan, na-check ko na sa bucket list ko 'yung pangarap ko. Ngayon, nagpapasalamat po ako sa lahat ng tumulong at sumuporta sa'kin,” he said.
