K-pop enthusiasts, rejoice! If you've been contemplating whether you should purchase tickets for the upcoming “OVERPASS: K-pop Music Concert” featuring Korean acts EXO's Baekhyun and Jeon Somi, maybe another K-pop artist will finally make you do so.

Cornerstone Entertainment, the organizer behind the highly-anticipated event, has added Korean rapper, singer, songwriter, dancer, and record producer B.I to the lineup of artists performing at the concert.

Last April 28, the concert producers unveiled the multi-hyphenate idol as the latest artist to join the event. In their post, they shared, “MIC CHECK, 1…2…You know his name, it's the One and Only, B.I! B.I will be joining the party at the OVERPASS: K-POP MUSIC CONCERT! AND WE'RE NOW ALL SET! SO BUCKLE UP!”

B.I has proven his love for his Filo fans with the number of times he has visited the country. Last August 2022, he held his first fan meeting at the New Frontier Theater. He also recently held his 2023 Asia Tour and dropped by Manila once again.

B.I is known best for being the CEO of record label IOK Entertainment and for his hit mini-albums Waterfall, Cosmos, and Love or Loved, Pt. 1.

Fans of the various K-pop artists are enthusiastic about this once-in-a-lifetime event as this also marks Baekhyun's official return to the country after four years and Jeon Somi's first visit to the Philippines.

Baekhyun is well-known for being part of the highly-celebrated K-pop group EXO and the star-studded ensemble cast of Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. As a soloist, he also released three successful mini albums, City Lights, Delight, and Bambi.

Jeon Somi, on the other hand, rose to fame after joining the survival reality show Produce 101, and later achieved commercial success as the center vocalist of the group I.O.I. Her viral hits “DUMB DUMB” and “XOXO” further cemented her success as a soloist.

OVERPASS is a platform that brings together R&B, Soul, and Hip-Hop artists of Asian descent from different sides of the globe. The concert is an entry to a global music gathering that celebrates Asian excellence in music.
