Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes marches with 2014 grads

After years of hard work, Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes earned his college diploma Sunday, March 23.
Dingdong received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration, major in Marketing, from the West Negros University in Bacolod City.
It took Dingdong almost 16 years to earn his diploma because he had to give priority to his showbiz career. According to him, he started college in 1998.
"Siyempre naman. We're advocating for education so we should also practice what we preach," he told GMA News on why he was inspired to finish his studies.
The Primetime King's mother Angeline Dantes and girlfriend, Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera, went all the way from Manila early this morning to witness the special event in Dingdong's life.
After his graduation, Dingdong will focus on the "One Chair One Child" project of his Yes! Pinoy Foundation and Lifeline Foundation Support Team Inc. The project's goal is to provide chairs to all students of a school in Iloilo City which was devastated by Typhoon Yolanda last year.
"Para bawat isa sa kanila (ay) may bagong upuan pagdating ng June. So our plan is to do it one school at a time. We have the deadline on June kaya pinupukpok namin itong campaign na ito. Malay mo, ang uupo roon ang magiging susunod na doktor, scientist, abogado or maybe one of the next leaders of our country," he said.
