Matteo Guidicelli, sinabing ang pagiging parte ng army ang dahilan ng pagsali sa GMA Public Affairs
Nang pumirma ng kontrata si Matteo Guidicelli sa GMA Network, ilang proyekto na ang naka-handa para sa kanya sa GMA Public Affairs, at ayon sa aktor, ang pagsali niya sa army bilang isang reservist ang dahilan kung bakit niya pinili maging parte ng organisasyon na ito.
Sa interview niya sa Updated with Nelson Canlas podcast, sinabi niyang pinagdasal at pinangarap niya ang magkaroon ng “platform to tell, represent the Filipino people” na nakuha niya sa GMA Public Affairs.
“Actually, ito po. Itong opportunity dito sa GMA Public Affairs, ito po talagang pinagpray-an ko at pinangarap ko talaga to be able to have a platform to tell, represent the Filipino people,” sabi niya.
Dagdag pa ng aktor, “Iyon talaga...nu'ng sumali po ako sa Army four years ago nagbukas talaga ang mundo ko doon e. Sabi ko talaga sa sarili ko 'Sir na I want to use the platform, the influence to represent the Filipino people and to tell their stories.'”
“Kasi we have so many talented people, we have so many incredible stories, we have so many things the world has to know about the Filipino. So iyon po, iyon po ang priority ko na mag enjoy lang tayo at ikuwento ko po yung mga kuwentong Pilipino,” pagpapatuloy nito.
Pumirma noong May 11 si Matteo ng kontrata sa GMA Network at sinabing “very blessed and happy” siya na natuloy na sa wakas ang pag pirma niya matapos ang isang taon.
“I'm very excited for what has to come. You guys welcomed me very nicely. It was very touching. Honestly, I've never felt this kind of welcome at work. I am very excited to start my journey with GMA,” saad ng aktor.
Kahit na tumagal ng isang taon mula ng planuhin ng aktor ang pagpirma sa GMA Network, sinabi niya na hindi siya nagdalawang-isip at naging busy lang sa mga ginagawa kaya hindi siya nakapirma agad.
Dagdag pa ng aktor, “I think timing timing lang po lahat din 'no?”
“I think time just flew by 'no, time flew by and I had other things I was doing also,” sabin nito.
Pagpapatuloy ng aktor, “Actually, we sat down with Attorney (Felipe) Gozon, Ma'am Nessa (Valdellon) and the whole the GMA team. And na-time lang you know two weeks ago umupo kami ulit with Boss Vic (del Rosario) and we signed few days ago. So nagpapasalamat talaga ako sa kanila.”
