Dennis Trillo joins Jennylyn Mercado in Aguila artist management

Aguila Entertainment formally welcomes under its management award-winning Kapuso star and multi-generational best actor Dennis Trillo.

Dennis now joins his wife Jennylyn Mercado in the artist management agency led by its founder and veteran artist manager Becky Aguila, CEO Katrina Aguila and general manager Jan Enriquez.

“We are very happy and honored to have the one and only Dennis Trillo be part of our stable of artists. We are excited to start this new journey with him and we have big plans in line. There is still more to Dennis that viewers should watch out for,” said Katrina. “We thank Dennis for the trust he gave our team.”

Dennis is one of the best actors in the industry today. His body of work is not only recognized locally but also by international award giving bodies. His performance in the movie On the Job: The Missing 8, which was among the chosen films competing for the 78th Venice International Film Festival back in 2021. His portrayal of hired gunman Roman was so well received it almost earned him the coveted Best Actor award.

In 2016, Dennis was also awarded the Asian Star Prize at the Seoul International Awards for his role in the GMA series My Faithful Husband, and in 2014 he received the Highly Commended Award at the 19th Asian Television Awards for his portrayal in GMA's groundbreaking gay-themed TV drama My Husband's Lover.

Recently, Dennis also earned praises for his effective portrayal of Crisostomo Ibarra and Simoun in the hit historical portal fantasy series Maria Clara at Ibarra on GMA Telebabad.

Soon, Dennis will star in the GMA series Love Before Sunrise opposite Bea Alonzo, and will topbill the international series Severino.
