
In case you missed it, Coldplay is finally returning to the Philippines next year as part of the Asian leg of their ongoing world tour, “Music of the Spheres.”
The British rock band is set to take over the Philippine Arena stage in Bulacan on January 19, 2024, Friday.
The exciting news was announced by the band on Monday with a short compilation video of clips from their world tour.
Local concert organizer Live Nation Philippines (LNPH) likewise released the dates of the presale and general sale for the Coldplay show in Manila.
“Get ready to experience a technicolor spectacle as Coldplay returns to Philippines! Be prepared to sing your favorite anthems from this amazing band who performs a crafted-to-perfection show, while championing sustainability,” the caption on its social media accounts read.
Artist / LNPH presale is scheduled on June 19 at 10 a.m., while general on-sale is on June 20 at 12 p.m.
Ticket prices and seat plan for the show have yet to be released but tickets will be on sale at coldplay.com.
Days before the official announcement, the organizer teased the upcoming show with a drone shot of the Philippine Arena.
The video then focuses on a large screen where a teaser of Coldplay's world tour is playing.
Coldplay was last in Manila in 2017 for their A Head Full of Dreams tour.
The band is known for their classic songs such as “Fix You,” “Yellow,” “The Scientist,” “Paradise,” “Viva La Vida,” among others.
