Sandara Park hints at getting ready for her first solo special mini album.
South Korean actress and singer Sandara Park is set to debut as a solo artist in July, according to media outlet reports. This marks Dara's official debut as a solo musician after 14 years of being in the K-pop industry following her debut with 2NE1 in 2009.
On June 14, news circulated about Dara's comeback as a soloist. The K-pop star reportedly finished filming for her title track music video recently, and is now in the final stages of preparation for her first solo mini album release, targeted to launch in July.
Dara has also teased her upcoming mini album release. She shared on June 15, "Finally, Singer Dara is back with a solo special mini album for my fans. Thank you so much for waiting. Nolza~!!!"
Dara has been active as an actress and variety show star since 2NE1's disbandment in 2016. She left YG Entertainment after 17 years in 2021 and joined entertainment agency Abyss Company in the same year. Since then, Dara has expressed her goals of returning onstage as a performer.
Recently, Dara visited the Philippines to film for reality show Idol Truck Project where she was a guest. The idol visited locations around Clark, Pampanga with WINNER's Jinwoo, NU'EST's Aron, and singers Jonghyeon and DINDIN.
