K-pop boy band SEVENTEEN's ultimate performer and visuals Jun is leaving his soft, warm, and cuddly image as he ushers in a new era and enters the dark side in his recently released solo song “PSYCHO.”

Last June 28, Jun surprised Carats and revealed through a short teaser that he'll be dropping a new track this July 4. The next following days Carats were gifted with his mesmerizing visuals and abs which are basically the main highlight of the concept photos.

Today, the talented Moon Junhui finally released “PSYCHO” as well as its wicked and transformative music video. Carats saw a different side to the quiet and shy Jun as he owned all the scenes with his impeccable acting and dancing skills.

In the video, Jun embodied a mentally insane person with three different personas. His first outfit, a white strappy ensemble, is him channeling a patient from the mental hospital. His second outfit, a bright red lab suit, gave him a mad scientist energy. His last outfit brought it all together and made him look like the Joker.

“PSYCHO” is an alternative hyper-pop genre song and its lyrics, composed and written by Jun himself, send a message to everyone that you should embrace who you are and stop conforming to the limited boxes society has placed you in.

Jun embraces his so-called weirdness and encourages others to do the same. You don't have to fit in to belong to the collective.

This isn't the first time that Jun made a bold transformation as he also showcased his sultry and sensual side when he released his solo song “LIMBO” last September 2022. There he tapped his looks of royalty and embodied a seductive prince.
