SEVENTEEN's Hoshi joins SHINee's Taemin for 'HARD' dance cover

By Jashley Ann Cruz

Second-generation K-pop boy band SHINee recently made their highly-anticipated comeback with the release of their newest album HARD. As they continuously promote it on various social media platforms, they've also tapped other K-pop idols to join in and do the “HARD” challenge.

The group's maknae, main dancer, and sub-vocalist Taemin recently embarked on the dance challenge with SEVENTEEN's performance leader and ultimate tiger Hoshi. Every Shawol would know that this is a rare sight for Taemin as the K-pop idol only did the challenge with fellow SHINee members, backup dancers, and other SuperM members.

Carats, on the other hand, were filled with joy and had a brief hard relate moment with Hoshi as the SEVENTEEN member fulfills his dream as a Shawol. Every fan would know that Hoshi has been a Shawol even before he became a K-pop idol.

Right from the very first start, Hoshi has always credited SHINee for being one of the reasons as to why he wants to become a K-pop artist himself. He knows all of their songs and the choreographies of each and has shown endless support for Onew, Key, Minho, Taemin, and Jonghyun.

Taemin and Hoshi's “HARD” dance challenge opened with Hoshi flexing his freshly signed copy of SHINee's Amigo - The 1st Repackage Album. The two then went on to vibe to the track's cool atmosphere and ended the cover doing SEVENTEEN's iconic Sonogong sign from their recently released song “Super.”

Both Shawols and Carats consider Hoshi as one of the most successful Shawols ever as not only did he get to dance with his favorite K-pop artist, Taemin also followed him on Instagram, Hoshi gave Taemin their FML album, and the SHINee member mentioned that he and Hoshi are now close because they are both INFPs.

As fellow K-pop fans ourselves, we can affirm that Hoshi is one of the luckiest Shawols out there to exist. He is definitely living the dream and deserves every bit of it.
