GMA Network wants to give our bosses-the audience-level-up entertainment every weekend.

And in the coming days, we revved up our weekend programming to give you a lot of reasons to stay at home and bond with the whole family.

In our exclusive chat with two of GMA's top comedians, Sparkle talents Betong Sumaya and Chariz Solomon, they shared their thoughts about why the Kapuso network's weekend lineup is simply the best.

Betong explained, “Napakasarap magsama-sama at isang way ng pagkakaroon ng family bonding ay panonood ng show sa GMA.

“Siyempre, family oriented yan. Aside from family oriented, ang dami mo din matututunan. Kami kasi ng family ko, kahit tanghali, hapunan, sama-sama kami kumakain, nakaharap sa TV, napakaganda!

“Kasi, 'yung interaction with the family dire-diretso at maganda dun, sama-sama kayong tatawa at hahagalpak.

Meanwhile, Chariz Solomon recalled that ever since she was young, she considers the Kapuso network as the home of the “best comedy shows.” She says it is also good to see that viewers would have a lot of comedy programs to choose from in the weekend line-up of the leading broadcast network in the Philippines.

“Masaya manood ng GMA tuwing weekend kahit dati pa noong bata ako, naalala ko kasi eto 'yung tahanan ng comedy talaga.

“Sa iba nanonood ka ng drama, pero sa GMA the best ang comedy! So, it's perfect, lahat sila naka-pack sa weekend. Nandiyan siyempre ang Pepito Manaloto na I'm very blessed to be a part of,” Chariz said.

She added, “Siyempre, ang Bubble Gang na ngayon ay nilagay na sa simula ng linggo n'yo. Kung dati sa simula ng weekend natin, ngayon nasa simula ng week natin. Hindi na magiging mundane ang Mondays dahil masisimulan na natin ng katatawanan with the whole family, dahil Sundays na ang Bubble Gang.”

GMA Best Weekend Ever

Starting this weekend, Kapuso viewers will be glued to their TV sets watching GMA shows with the exciting changes happening.

First off, start your weekend by joining Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes with his amazing adventures.

The award-winning infotainment show Amazing Earth will be moving to its new timeslot starting today, July 14 at 9:35 p.m.

Don't miss their three-part anniversary special beginning this Friday night and on July 21 and July 28.

On Saturday night, viewers can watch the fun and hilarious moments on the multi-awarded family sitcom Pepito Manaloto: Tuloy Ang Kuwento at an earlier timeslot.

Beginning July 15, the well-loved comedy show starring ace comedian Michael V. and versatile actress-singer Manilyn Reynes will begin at 6:15 p.m.

After laughing non-stop, don't miss the show-stopping performances and world-class talents that will be featured on the Battle of the Judges hosted by Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards.

The world's ultimate talent competition will premiere this Saturday at 7:15 pm, after Pepito Manaloto.

Battle of the Judges will feature four prominent entertainment personalities who are all set to lead their team to the battle stage to determine who will be declared as the first-ever ultimate champion: The Strategist, Boy Abunda; The Entertainment Industry Leader, Ms. Annette Gozon-Valdes; The Powerhouse Comedian, Jose Manalo; and The Premier Leading Lady, Bea Alonzo.

The fun continues every Saturday night with the hilarious Gen-Z crew of Boss E.Z. played by top-notch comedian Bossing Vic Sotto on Open 24/7.

After watching another emotional episode in the weekend drama-anthology #MPK (Magpakailanman), choose to relax by catching the “GV” episode of the funny sitcom now on its new timeslot at 9:30 pm.

Before beginning another new week, GMA Network is making sure that you will sleep on a Sunday night with a huge smile with our excellent comedy show offering.

Sunday Grande sa Gabi is way grander with the longest-running gag show Bubble Gang occupying the 6:00 p.m. timeslot.

Don't miss the viral sketches, memorable punchlines, and of course more trending parody songs from our Kababol led by highly-respected comedian and content creator Direk Michael V.

Continue the feel-good moments with Julian played by multi-talented TV and movie star John Lloyd Cruz in the hit sitcom Happy ToGetHer every Sunday at 6:50 pm, before Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis.

And then cap off your weekend with the funtastic tandem of Boobay and Tekla. Remember, “tawa is life” in The Boobay and Tekla Show at 10:40 p.m., after the hit news magazine show Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho.
