The management of Song Hye-kyo apologized for an accident that happened during the construction of her new house.
According to an article published by Soompi.com, on Monday, July 17, a Korean outlet reported that a big steel bar fell and damaged a resident's car at the construction of a celebrity-owned mansion in Samseong in Gangnam district.
Fortunately, no one was inside the car at the time the steel bar landed onto the vehicle's rear window.
The media outlet didn't name the top star but later that day, Song Hye-kyo's agency, United Artist Agency (UAA) released a statement confirming that it was the Now We Are Breaking Up star's home.
"During the construction of Song Hye Kyo's home, an accident occurred in which a resident's vehicle was damaged. We apologize for the lack of safety management," the agency wrote.
UAA also apologized to the owner of the damaged vehicle and assured that they will address the situation and lack of safety measures.
"Above all, we would like to express our apologies to the vehicle owner who suffered damage. In order to restore the damage and prevent recurrence, we will do our best to come up with countermeasures in close consultation with the construction company, and we will pay attention to prevent this from happening again.
"In addition, we will collect and reflect the opinions from residents and improve the inconvenience caused by the construction. We apologize once again," they added.
