'Voltes V: Legacy' director Mark Reyes shares his experience as a panelist for San Diego Comic-Con

Direk Mark Reyes, the director of Voltes V: Legacy shared his experience in attending the San Diego Comic-Con.

According to the Kapuso director, it has been on his bucket list to be part of the San Diego Comic-Con.

The website states that "The SAN DIEGO COMIC CONVENTION (Comic-Con International) is a California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation organized for charitable purposes and dedicated to creating the general public's awareness of and appreciation for comics and related popular art forms, including participation in and support of public presentations, conventions, exhibits, museums and other public outreach activities which celebrate the historic and ongoing contribution of comics to art and culture."

Voltes V: Legacy made history as the first Philippine TV program in Comic-Con International.

Direk Mark said in his recent Instagram post with a photo from the convention, "It's been on my bucket list to make it to San Diego Comic-Con. Little did I know that that dream will come true this 2023."

According to Direk Mark, attending this year's convention is more than what he dreamt of as he will be an official panelist.

"What's more is that I am not just attending as a casual convention goer but an official panelist to represent the first South East Asian Live Action series for #voltesvlegacy."

At the end of his post, he expressed his gratitude to GMA Network for making his dream a reality.

"Thank you @gmanetwork for making all this a reality for this manchild who never stopped believing in superheroes and robots. #pinoypride🇵🇭 #whatsnext #wecreateourownpossibilities"

Joining Direk Mark in the event are GMA Senior Vice President Lilybeth G. Rasonable, Assistant Vice President for Drama Helen Rose S. Sese, Assistant Vice President for Post Operations Vincent C. Gealogo, and Telesuccess Productions Executive Producer Larson Chan.

The cast of Voltes V: Legacy who attended the event are Miguel Tanfelix (Steve Armstrong), Ysabel Ortega (Jamie Robinson), and Gabby Eigenmann (Commander Robinson).
