'TBATS' host Boobay is dazzling in a Rian Fernandez creation at the GMA Gala 2023

The star-studded GMA Gala 2023 was, indeed, a night full of fun, style, and gratitude as Sparkle stars, Kapuso celebrities, and non-GMA artists graced the event in their most sophisticated elegant formal attire.

One of the stars who dazzled the crowd was Kapuso host and comedian Boobay.

The TV host was clad in a pink long gown with iridescent details made by Filipino fashion designer Rian Fernandez, who also designed gowns for beauty queens such as Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel.

According to The Boobay and Tekla Show host, he wanted his outfit to have a touch of his personality and he was ecstatic of how his gown turned out.

“Ang gusto ko lang naman 'yung may touch pa rin ng Boobay. So, ito po 'yung ginawa niya, sobrang happy ako sa gown na ginawa ni Rian Fernandez, who used to be my schoolmate naman sa St. Louis University sa Baguio,” he said in an interview with GMANetwork.com.

The comedian was also happy to see the reunion of Sparkle and Kapuso artists as well as non-GMA artists at the GMA Gala 2023.

Aside from the glitz and glamor, the GMA Gala 2023 is also a fundraising event for the GMA Kapuso Foundation, which will benefit various charitable institutions.
