Anchors, rejoice! P-pop boy band HORI7ON has officially made their debut with the release of their first album Friend-SHIP.
As a Filipino boy band trained in Korea, HORI7ON kicked off their promotional activities with a performance of their album's title track “SIX7EEN” on Mnet's M Countdown.
“SIX7EEN” is a lively track embedded with an addictive melody and chorus that has sleek slap bass sounds. Its youthful lyrics send a message to everyone to let go of their worries and live in the now as you are only young once.
In the accompanying music video, HORI7ON members Vinci, Kim, Kyler, Reyster, Winston, Jeromy, and Marcus showed off their energetic charms and musical colors as a P-pop boy band.
On July 27, HORI7ON officially started their promotional activities in Korea with a performance on Mnet's M Countdown. Any true K-pop fan would know that this is a big thing as other famous K-pop groups have performed in the South Korean music program in the past. They join big leaguers BTS, SEVENTEEN, EXO, Red Velvet, Girls' Generation, SHINee, and such.
HORI7ON was formed from a PH-KOR collaborative audition program called Dream Maker. Vinci, Kim, Kyler, Reyster, Winston, Jeromy, and Marcus were the final seven members of the survival show and later on became a group.
Congratulations, HORI7ON!
