Miss Universe coronation night to air on November 18
Pageant fans need to mark their calendars as the Miss Universe organization has announced that the Miss Universe 2023 coronation night in Ecuador is going to be held on November 18.
The organization made the announcement on its Instagram account through a short video showing clips from last year's coronation night that saw R'Bonney Gabriel take home the Miss Universe crown. In the caption to the post, the organization asked its followers to stay tuned for more information on the official Miss Universe app.
The current reigning Miss Universe Philippines, Michelle Dee, also posted the announcement on her Instagram account, but this time with a video of her moments from the Miss Universe pageant. Michelle even included video of her wearing the black evening gown that won her the Best in Evening Gown award.
With just a little over four months left until the final competition, Michelle has been busy working with the causes that are closest to her heart. Just a week ago, Michelle met with officers of the Autism Society Philippines, “a national non-profit dedicated to the well-being of Filipinos who live on autism spectrum and those who care for them”. In the caption to the post, Michelle promised that there are a lot of amazing things in store for the Autism Society of the Philippines. She also shared her happiness at playing a role in making the country a more “Autism Accepting and Inclusive Nation.”
Michelle also met with the Autism Society Philippines last month, with the meeting held at Pancake House, Magallanes, which employs people on the autism spectrum as part of the Autism Works Campaign of the Autism Society of the Philippines.
In May, Michelle shared a video of her and the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 candidates taking part in an autism awareness seminar.
