GMA Music artists among first batch of Awit Awards 2023 nominees

The 36th Awit Awards first batch of approved entries have been announced recently by the Philippine Association of the Recording Industry (PARI).

GMA Music's roster of musicians have been included in some of the categories include Garrett Bolden, Psalms David, Kelvin Miranda, Kristoffer Martin, Anton Paras, McCoy Fundales, Matt Lozano, Hannah Precillas, Mariane Osabel, Jessica Villarubin, Vilmark Viray, XOXO, Sanya Lopez, Denise Barbacena, Kim de Leon, among others.

A new category has been added this year for Best Global Collaboration, which will give a nod to the significant collaborations of Pinoy music acts with global acts.

Similarly, the rock and heavy metal genre will have its own category via the Best Rock/Metal Recording list.

Other additions include Best Musical Recording, Best Recording by A Child or for Children, Best Remix Recording, Best Dance/Electronic Recording, Best Original Soundtrack Recording and an Awit Lifetime Achievement Award.

An official finalists listing will be announced by the Awit Awards soon, with the awards night set for who has set November 9, 2023.
