Are you ready for the reunion concert of the King and Queen of Filipino R&B Jay R and Kyla?
Jay R and Kyla Alvarez's highly-anticipated reunion concert is happening next month.
The King and Queen of Filipino R&B's “Back In Time: Kyla and Jay R The Reunion Concert” will take place at the New Frontier Theatre in Cubao, Quezon City on Sept. 2, 2023.

In an Instagram post, the “Bakit Pa Ba” hitmaker shared some photos taken from the his rehearsals with Kyla and the band as they prepare for the upcoming event.
“Band rehearsal photos with Kyla! See you all this September for #BackInTime2023,” he wrote.
In a separate post, Kyla expressed that she's excited for the upcoming concert with her fellow OPM artist.
“I really can't even begin how excited I am for the concert on Sept. 2. It's been a long while since the last one. I get chills going through my whole body just thinking about it. Getting a little nervous already,” a part of her post reads.
In a recent press conference, Jay R said that it was easy for him to say yes to do the concert with Kyla as they have been friends for two decades.
“I think it's super self-explanatory na for me to say yes to the concert. I'm a big fan of Kyla, and Kyla and I have been friends for 20 years na and singing together for that long.
“It was easy for me to say yes. Even before the question was done, I was saying yes already. They were like 'Do you want to do a show?' and I'm like 'Yes, go, game. Let's go,'” he said.
According to the Filipino-American singer, he and Kyla will be performing around 30 songs at their reunion concert.
“We're doing a lot. We want to make sure that the show is very sulit sa fans, especially kasi this is a 20-year reunion after so long kaya I don't know, probably like 30 songs or something like this.
“I mean not full songs ha, 'yung iba naka-medley. But when you count everything, it's probably around 30,” he shared.
The “Back In Time: Kyla and Jay R The Reunion Concert” is presented and produced by GNN Pop and co-presented by Cornerstone Entertainment.
