Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati, proud parents to baby Zion

Kapuso couple Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati have finally broken their silence and announced in the first episode of their reality series that they indeed have a son, baby Zion.
The two met on the set of the GMA Telebabad series, Makapiling Kang Muli. Sarah shared in an earlier interview with Startalk that the first time Richard asked for her number was during taping and during that time, she had just changed her number. She wasn’t able to give her number to Richard because she didn’t know her own number.
But then again, destiny has a way of bringing people together. Month have passed and the two became a couple.
“It happened one late afternoon during Makapiling Kang Muli taping and he asked me properly and we both knew that we are at that point. You know, the typical cheesy thing,” said Sarah.

Last January 2013, actress Sarah Lahbati became a hot topic in showbiz because of her series of tweets implicating GMA Films President, Atty. Annette Gozon-Abrogar. They filed cases against each other.
The Filipina-Moroccan actress then went to Switzerland on January 13. She returned to Manila on July 11 to post bail. There were speculations of Sarah’s pregnancy, but both Richard and Sarah have remained mum on the issue.

Last February 28, Sarah reconciled with Atty. Annette Gozon-Abrogar. Both parties have settled their issues amicably not only in court, but also personally.
Sarah admitted that she and Atty. Abrogar were on the same page. Through their meeting, they were able to talk things out and clarify everything.
The StarStruck alumna said, “Both of us, ‘yung intention lang talaga namin na maayos na, matapos na, parehas kaming ganoon. I just wished nakapag-usap kami earlier.”

The couple made the big revelation about baby Zion last June 1 in the first episode of their newest family reality series.
Sarah posted on her Instagram account, @sarahlahbati, a picture of two hands- her own and baby Zion’s. She included the caption, “Extremely happy to announce the new member of our family, baby Zion.”
Richard’s sister, Ruffa Gutierrez also posted a message of support for the Kapuso couple and their son on her Instagram account, @iloveruffag.
She posted a picture of Richard and Sarah hugging each other with the caption, “by @frankbriones "Oh my Goddddddd!!!! And I'm crying now. Grand revelation on the premiere episode of #ittakesgutztobeagutierrez . @richardgutz publicly announcing he is a proud father. So proud of you and @sarahlahbati . Crying and cheering now at Casa Gutierrez and their phones now are not stopping." the cat is out of the bag!!! So happy for @richardgutz & @sarahlahbati”
