It features a stellar cast including actor Zanjoe Marudo, internationally acclaimed actress Dolly de Leon, Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee, and Elijah Canlas.

The film's director Kerwin Go (Mina-Anud) has found a new meaning in her retelling of the story.

“It's a celebration of family, unconventional families, blended families. It could be a family that you adopt and friends who become family and neighbors who actually become just as important,” he said at the See What's Next: Philippines 2023 local titles launch.

Originally a South Korean movie, Keys to the Heart is a 2018 Korean film starring Lee Byung-hun and Park Jung-min. It tells the story of a boxer named Jo-ha (Lee Byung-hun) connecting with his estranged, younger brother Jin-tae (Park Jung-tae) who excels in piano despite suffering from Savant Syndrome.

In the Philippine adaptation of the movie, Zanjoe is Joma. He is a boxer who takes care of his younger brother Jayjay (Elijah Canlas), who suffers from autism yet shows talent for piano. Through their mother Sylvia's (Dolly de Leon) encouragement, Joma and Jayjay go out-of-town to join a piano competition. They encounter piano virtuoso Annette (Michelle Dee), who has chosen to stop playing the instrument due to a traumatic incident.

Another local movie that is bound to draw attention from Netflix watchers, The Cheating Game, starring Rayver Cruz and Julie Anne San Jose, is making its premiere on Netflix Philippines this October 26.
