At Sparkle Spell 2023, Derrick Monasterio flaunts his physique in a Spartan-inspired outfit.
Kapuso hunk actor Derrick Monasterio surprised the audience and his fellow actors at the Sparkle Spell 2023 when he entered the black carpet of the event riding a horse dressed in a Spartan outfit.
Derrick wore this outfit to show off his sculpted abs and arm muscles, making him look like a true warrior.
The actor also claimed in an interview that his entrance with a live horse was a last-minute idea.
“Last minute na 'yung horse pero binook ko na kasi ang ganda na ng outfit,” he shared.
“Favorite movie ko rin kasi 'yung Troy, so I [dressed up as] Achilles,” he added.

On Instagram, Derrick posted some creative photos of himself in his Spartan outfit which were shot by celebrity and fashion photographer BJ Pascual.
Derrick captioned his photos with a line from the movie Troy that says, “If they ever tell my story, let them say I walked with giants. Let them say I lived in the time of Achilles.”
Meanwhile, Derrick's girlfriend, Elle Villanueva, dressed up as Cleopatra for the event.
Derrick and Elle are set to star in the upcoming Kapuso mystery revenge drama series titled Makiling.
