The wait is over, Jungkook of BTS has officially released his debut solo album, Golden.
Golden has 11 tracks, including Jungkook's previously released chart-topping hits, "Seven (ft. Latto)" and "3D (ft. Jack Harlow)," and its freshly-dropped main track, "Standing Next To You."
In an earlier announcement on Weverse, BTS's record label BigHit Music said the album is “inspired by the golden moments of Jung Kook, the golden maknae of BTS and a solo artist.”
Aside from the album, the "golden maknae" also released the official music video for "Standing Next To You" on Friday.
According to an article by Soompi, the main track is a "modern interpretation of old school sounds from the disco funk genre."
Also part of Jungkook's Golden album are the songs, "Closer to You (ft. Major Lazer)," "Yes or No," "Please Don't Change (ft. DJ Snake)," "Hate You," "Somebody," "Too Sad to Dance," and "Shot Glass of Tears."
Jungkook is also the voice behind the official 2022 FIFA World Cup song, “Dreamers” and has collaborated with Charlie Puth for the song, “Left and Right.”
