Does Tom Rodriguez believe in destiny?

Kapuso hunk Tom Rodriguez gave us a thumbs up when we asked if he believes in the concept of destiny. After all, his next project in the Kapuso network is a primetime series with his My Husband's Lover co-star Carla Abellana titled My Destiny.
He adds that he does not only believe it, but has in fact experienced it: "I've had a first hand experience of it. One wrong thing, one different thing, kahit kaunti, may isang bagay lang na mangyari na iba, wala ako dito ngayon sa kinauupuan ko."
Ang tinutukoy ni Tom ay ang pagpasok niya sa showbiz. Four years ago ay hindi raw niya inakalang maabot niya ang tagumpay na kanyang tinatamasa ngayon.
"My life would have taken a different turn, so it's quite comforting in a way din to think na someone out there is really looking out for you and really there is a plan. You never quite know where you'll go in life. Sometimes life will surprise you, but it's inevitable that someone is pulling strings," he explains.
Tom, of course, still recognizes the existence of one's free will.
"It's still up to us to be responsible and act the way we want to, pero it's nice to think that there's a sort of guidance rin na parang may course correction na eventually you are going to be where you were meant to be."

He concludes by saying, "Whether all the experiences na pinagdaanan mo ay mahirap, masakit, masaya, nakaka-enjoy, lahat 'yun parang ingredients siya to get you to where you are supposed to be. And I really do believe that."
