Professional models participate in gift giving, art painting session for DSWD's Haven for Women

The Professional Models Association of the Philippines (PMAP) recently partnered with Paint it Fun, NextGen and I- Fern for a special gift giving and art painting session with the women and children of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Haven for Women.

This meaningful event was held on December 2, 2023 at the DSWD Safeway Haven for Women in Muntinlupa and was attended by PMAP members and other volunteers.

I-Fern owner Ms. Kim Abelar and her I-Fern Mini Ladies also joined the gift giving and painting activities.

Committed to making a positive impact in the community, PMAP joined hands with its partners to provide a memorable and uplifting experience for the women and children who have faced challenging circumstances.

"We were so thrilled to collaborate with Paint it Fun, NextGen and I- Fern for this special event. Through our collective efforts, we hope to bring happiness, inspiration, and healing to the women and children of DSWD Haven for Women, reminding them that they are not alone in their journey, said Atty. Margarita Gutierrez, President of PMAP.

Paint it Fun, a renowned art studio, contributed their expertise and resources to and created a therapeutic art painting session for the participants. Through this session, the women and children had an opportunity to express their emotions and experiences creatively, promoting healing and self-expression.

NextGen, a nonprofit organization, has generously donated a variety of essential items such as clothing, skin care and hygiene kits, ensuring that the women and children have access to basic necessities.

Meanwhile, I-Fern, a health and wellness company, has contributed vitamins, supplements and hygiene kits to support the overall well-being of the participants, recognizing the importance of good health for their physical and emotional recovery.

PMAP, the leading organization of professional models in the country, along with its partners extend their heartfelt gratitude to Paint it Fun, NextGen and I- Fern for their generosity and support.
