Seeing Marian Rivera like never before seems like an understatement based on the performance level that she showed in the pilot episode of her dance show, Marian last June 21.

Opening the show in a blonde wig and a gorgeous Old Hollywood-inspired red dress, Marian danced to Marilyn Monroe’s Diamonds Are Forever. The grand production number took a modern twist when Rihanna’s Diamonds started playing. Marian brought out the fierce vixen in her and totally worked it.

After the dazzling performance, host Paolo Ballesteros introduced the next segment called Playlist. Every week, three famous dances from a certain period would be performed by Marian and a special guest.

For the first episode, the guest was no less than Ms. Maricel Soriano. Needless to say, Playlist featured the signature dances of the Diamond Star.

The Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real star showcased her famous dance moves to the ‘80s hit, Give Me Just A Little More Time

Then, TV’s most beautiful dancing diva took the stage in a sporty neon outfit and gave her all in dancing to Magic Fire’s Body Dancer.

The two queens then shared the stage and brought the house down as they danced to Breakfast Club’s Rico Mambo.

The fun continued as Paolo Ballesteros interviewed Ms. Maricel and Marian. The Kapuso Primetime Queen shared that she has always looked up to the Diamond Star. They first worked together in the film, Bahay Kubo and both have played Super Inday

Marian revealed that the best lesson she has learned from Ms. Maricel is loving her job and appreciating all the blessings she is receiving from God.

After the laughter-filled interview, Marian conquered the stage in a classy checkered outfit. She danced to Jessie J’s Domino. The crowd went wild when Star For All Seasons, Vilma Santos-Recto joined her onstage.

The audience was so pumped up that they even did the “Ate Vi tsunami wave” to show their support.

Then, Marian put her hosting skills to the test as she interviewed Ate Vi. She certainly did not disappoint.

Ate Vi congratulated TV’s newest dancing queen and declared, “Marimar pa lang nagpakita na si Baby Marian ng swag.”

The two went on to talk about the roles they both shared- Darna and Dyesebel. According to Ate Vi, her diet secret is giving time for herself, exercising and eating everything she wants in moderation.

Marian playfully teased Ate Vi to her ex, Edu Manzano and the current love of her life, Senator Ralph Recto. To this, Ate Vi said, “See you at the wedding.” Marian replied, “Sure ninang.” The crowd went hysterical over these statements.

The interview segment wrapped up with both Marian and Ate Vi dancing to Marian’s poplular song, Sabay-Sabay tayo.

Because Marian is a dance show full of surprises, host Paolo Ballesteros also took the stage and did his own version of the Rico Mambo.

Marian thanked Paolo for his awesome performance and demonstrated a 360 vertical twirl with her ballroom dancing partner.

The Marian night was absolutely an enjoyable party for all. For sure, there would be more to look forward to in the coming episodes.
