A popular celebrity award-giving body has revealed its nominees, and GMA Network has garnered 21 nominations out of 28 categories.
Award-winning Kapuso actors Dingdong Dantes and Dennis Trillo have made it to the list. Both are in the running for Actor of the Year at the Yahoo Celebrity Awards.

Dingdong Dantes has been a Kapuso for 15 years. He got his first big break when he took on the role of Inaki Torres in the teen-oriented show, T.GI.S. Since then, he has starred in numerous GMA Primetime shows such as Encantadia, Etheria, Atlantika, Marimar, Dyesebel, Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang, Endless Love, My Beloved, Pahiram ng Sandali and Genesis. He currently leads the cast of Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real.
He is also a recipient of numerous acting awards. This year alone, he bagged the Best Actor award in the Gawad Tanglaw Awards and won the Film Actor of the Year award in the 44th Box Office Entertainment Awards. He also won Best Performance by an Actor in a leading role in the 10th Golden Screen Awards for Movies and was recognized for his hosting skills at the 10th Golden Screen Awards for TV.
Fellow multi-awarded actor, Dennis Trillo has been with GMA for 11 years. Throughout those years, we have seen Dennis portray different roles in series such as Mulawin, Darna, Etheria, Majika, Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan, Super Twins, Endless Love, Dwarfina, Sinner or Saint, Legacy and Temptation of Wife. Most recently, he portrayed the role of Eric del Mundo in the phenomenal GMA Telebabad series, My Husband’s Lover.
Dennis is best known for his transgender role in Aishite Imasu, 1941, where he won Best Supporting Actor in the 30th Metro Manila Film Festival, along with best actor accolades from the Film Academy of the Philippines, the PMPC Star Awards For Movies and the Young Critics Circle. He has also received two consecutive Dekada Awards from Golden Screen, in 2013 and 2014.
